I've had a frustrating experience with Axxess as my ISP in Montevista Cape Town. We initially subscribed to a 100/100 Mbps plan but consistently received only 50/50 Mbps speeds. Hoping for an improvement, we upgraded to a 200/200 Mbps plan, but the problem persisted, with speeds still well below the advertised rates. Our attempts to resolve the issue have been met with lengthy calls and emails to Axxess. We have been through 3 different speed test sites and all confirm the lower speeds. We've diligently proven that our home hardware is not the problem by providing screenshots of network speeds achieved via a cat6 cable connection and verifying the network adapters on our laptops. Despite this evidence, Axxess has not taken any meaningful steps to rectify the situation. What's even more frustrating is that Axxess continues to charge us exorbitant amounts for a service we are clearly not receiving. Their tech support has been unhelpful, and our repeated attempts to raise tickets have resulted in automatic closures without any resolution. We keep sending the screenshots and they keep emailing to say they didnt receive it and are dragging their feet. We're paying for a service that falls far short of its promises, and the lack of adequate customer support makes the situation even more aggravating.
If I could give this 0 stars I would! It’s been an absolute FREAKSHOW. I cannot believe they call themselves a company! I applied for fibre at the end of April 2023. Within 3 days I got confirmation that they would come install my router (since there was already a line). They came that Friday and started installation, until they said the fibre line was too long and that I should wait for maintenance (they left all wires open in my garden in the rain). Maintenance NEVER SHOWED UP. Called them multiple times that day, the next day, the next Monday and Tuesday. They showed up Wednesday evening and again was so rude it was unbelievable. Then the next problem (that took a week to resolve) cane up. Our router was not registered. Had to send them images and struggle for another few days. This brings us to yesterday (17 May) and they said it’s active, yet I have no internet connection. Now they are demanding payments within 24 hours or my line will be suspended and my account will be cancelled. What am I supposed to pay for? I have been yelled at, sworn at and disrespected this while journey AND I STILL HAVE NO INTERNET.
Worst hosting ever. Useless technical and hosting support. Website themes and templates problematic. Never resolved.
Give full training and orientation to your chat staff - support and hosting staff. Their service and inability to resolve the most basic problems is appealing. These days it's worse.
Stay away feom this useless unprofessional peace of crap Company. I can't call them an ISP because the internet is more off than on. You as a client get no feedback and they take 9 hours plus to reply on emails if they decide to respond on emails
They are the worst ISP in history! They are no help at all but when it comes to getting money, they are always hounding us. I don’t recommend them at all.
I want internet installed. They said 1 to 30 days! Bulkshit. They dont call back even after four requests. Dont want to put me through to supervisors. Useless staff?!!! I have not even started my service with them and almost got a heart attack off frustrations. Incompetent people at the call center.
Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! They are down more than they actually work. I constantly have to try to get someone on the phone to tell me why I can't access my emails, why hosting is down, why I can't connect, why I can't do ANYTHING. Then I have someone on the other line that's suppose to be "customer service" asking me what my rooter looks like - then argues with me that my rooter has to have more lights and I'm wrong etc. They are rude and useless, but still expect you to give them a review on how their customer support was after you have phoned them. I've had tickets waiting to be helped for weeks with NO response. Call them back and they just open another ticket. OR they close a ticket without contacting you due to it being left for so long.
They have the worst service and support I have ever experienced in my life. You don't have any control over your domain and if you want to transfer they will make your suffer with wrong transfer code. Every time we ask about the auth code they with this one letter as the auth code. "!" Pathetic!
