Reliable hosting for asp.net
I moved to Hostforlife in order to increase my websites' loading speeds, and it was successful. Because of their free migration service, moving my sites to new host went smoothly. The ability to upgrade my server whenever necessary and the ease with which I can update my websites. The features like staging websites and cloning make it easy to update my website. The best thing about using Hostforlife as hosting provider is the ability to choose a server that is located to my target audience.

Just stay away
Had the worse hosting experience ever.
Please beware since they are using several brand names and have a some extensive SEO and social presence (sometimes fake).

One year ago, all of their shared servers (I had three sites hosted there) were hacked.
Not only that - the hacker (which they claim might have been an inside job) had erased all of the backup tapes!
My work - and I'm talking about one year of clients' valuable data - was gone !
They couldn't do anything ! (except for chasing us for the payment).

Actually, this was not my first encounter with them (as I said, they are using several names - this time it was asphostportal.com),
that's why I was tempted stupidly to use their service again

Their support team is responsive - but cannot always help.

I think we share the same server that time, i was told the same via ticket that a hacker compromised the server, even their back ups were deleted, lost 2 months database data + entire website

Great Choice! No Regret!
I signed up to Hostforlife on the basis of a recommendation from a popular forum. I initially signed up to the shared hosting package, but it soon became apparent that it was not ideally suited to my needs. Nothing wrong with the system, it just wasn't the best package for MY system. The guys at support were great and very quickly moved me over to a dedicated server.

I've now been with Hostforlife for around 5 years and I can report that my site has been running smoothly throughout.

Support from Hostforlife is second to none. Whenever I have need assistance I have had a reply to my email within minutes and all of my issues have been resolved very quickly. I would like to point out that most of the issues were down to me not knowing how to do something and not system issues.

To summarise I would highly recommend Hostforlife to anybody reading this.

They are FANTASTIC!
I'd used Hostforlife before when setting up a website, so when I wanted new hosting for my business site I happily went with them again. I wanted to make the new site whilst keeping my old site up on my old hosting provider. this meant a certain amount of messing around which was beyond me technically. I have problem wiht setting up database at that time and especially Sam was very helpfull and also knowledgeable.... They very patiently answered my questions and did behind the scenes stuff to get my site up and running.

Most of this review is about their support, but I should add that their pricing is very good, and the performance of my site is excellent. Much faster than the previous suppliers.

All in all, I can't recommend them enough.

Terrible hosting company with heavy PR
After a registration you won't receive any e-mails or messages about status or about anything really. It looks like you payed for something and after that it's total silence.
Next day they will send you contact details. If you forgot your password, password retrieval system in control panel ('forgot password') is not working at all. It doesn't send any mail and the only message you may get is about wrong combination username-password (hello security!).
If you will try to retrieve password with ... they will send you YOUR OWN PASSWORD. That means they store passwords in PLAIN TEXT. That's security 101 and absolutely inaccessible in 2016.
I won't even mention rudeness of support (when it is live support and not prepared templates).
Would not recommend at all.

Pathetic Service
Been with this company for a week. All 4 of my sites went down yesterday and are down again today....for at least 7 hours (Error 503). Sent a ticket 7 hours ago and have heard nothing. I'm on their budget plan so I guess I get budget support. Very sorry I went with these guys I only gave one star as system wouldn't allow me to give zero stars.
